Elementary Lead Teachers & Program Assistants
LTE through June 2021
Help kids have a great experience by joining us this academic year. We will be working with our partners in the school district to provide in-person
programming while MMSD is providing virtual instruction. LCEC program hours may shift with MMSD decisions about virtual vs in-person programming.
Our comprehensive, licensed program for elementary-age children in grades K–5 emphasizes positive youth development and trauma informed mindset in work with our diverse group of young people. We build partnerships and offer activities in academic support, arts, health/fitness, and community service and leadership development.
The ideal candidate will have relevant youth work experience paired with an enthusiasm for working with young people and offering culturally relevant and enriching experiences. The ability to adapt to changes brought on by the current pandemic is a must. Lead Teacher qualification or willingness to work toward it is a plus.
