Position Overview
Unleash your creative spark in this 50% role and revolutionize CHM’s creative landscape. Work closely with the Director of Communications & Marketing, crafting graphics, videos, and photographs that amplify our message of well-being and mental health.
Key Responsibilities
- Fuse artistry with technology using Adobe Creative Suite to craft stunning visuals for web, social media, print, and multimedia materials.
- Transform events into captivating stories through video recording and editing, creating dynamic promotional content.
- Capture the essence of moments with expertly shot and edited photographs, breathing life into events, staff, and promotions.
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of professional multimedia and print design experience, wielding Adobe Creative Suite with finesse.
- Adeptness in design fundamentals like layout, color theory, typography, and graphic design principles.
- Experience in the realm of photography and photo editing.
Preferred
- Proficiency in video production using DSLR cameras and software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- A master juggler, effortlessly managing diverse tasks and priorities.
- Proven project/task management expertise.
- A collaborator extraordinaire, skilled in rallying diverse stakeholders towards shared goals.
- Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into visually engaging designs.
- Previous experience in designing for culturally diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with accessible design standards.
Education
Preferred: Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Applied Arts, or a related field.
