MIAMI, FL — October 18, 2021 —— Last night’s broadcast of the second annual Monitor Music Awards did not disappoint audiences who tuned in from around the world to watch the star-studded show which broadcast on UniMas in the U.S, Televisa/Telehit in Mexico, the Albavision group, Medcom in Panama, Canal 1 in Colombia and Claro TV in Latin America and the Caribbean. Millions of viewers watched performances from today’s biggest and rising Latin artists across multiple genres.
Produced by EMax Group, the award show featured sixteen electrifying performances broadcast mainly from the Paramount World Center in Miami, as well as Coco Bongo in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
Camilo was the night’s big winner taking home 3 awards, including the Claro Musica Award, and special awards were presented to legendary Mexican singer-songwriter and producer, Marco Antonio Solís, Venezuelan-Argentine pop singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner, Mexican ‘cumbia sonidera’ group Los Ángeles Azules and the legendary Mariachi group Mariachi Vargas. An all-star cast including Adolecentes, Lena, El Canario, Hareld, Frankie Ruiz JR, Mauricio Cachana, Josimar, and Grupo Gale ignited the Monitor Music Awards stage with a special salsa tribute featuring honoree Oscar de Leon, and Lunay (“TBC”), Natti Natasha (“Cuento Breve”, Rauw Alejandro (“Nubes”) and T1419 (“Flex”) had featured premieres of new songs.
