As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for providing outreach to immigrant communities and coordinating county services to support immigrant integration. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the inspiring Fabiola Hamdan, who will provide expert supervision and support.
As our Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing case management and support resources to immigrant and refugee populations. You will play a vital role in helping these individuals feel at home in their new community and providing them with the support they need to thrive. This is a 1.0 FTE position based in the vibrant city of Madison, Wisconsin.
We are looking for a passionate individual with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work or a temporary or permanent Social Work Certification from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) if they have any other major. All individuals must possess a degree and a temporary or permanent Social Work Certification from the Wisconsin DSPS before the first day of employment.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess knowledge of social work methods, human development and behavior, investigation procedures, and community resources and support programs. You will have excellent personal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational and time-management skills. A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to reliable personal transportation or equivalent are required.
